PsiAN’s Original Research on Therapy and the Public
We undertook an ambitious research effort to understand what the U.S. public knows about therapy, how they think and feel about it, and what they most want out of it. Using state-of-the-art consumer insights tools, we have completed in-depth qualitative interviews and a large quantitative survey.
Our research has been published in a special edition of the journal Psychoanalytic Inquiry. Here is the abstract of our paper.
Click here to download the published paper, "Going Beneath the Surface: What People Want from Therapy," with our full results, methodology, and recommendations.
Here is our Executive Summary, including recommendations.
